Prylada was founded in 2019 with the purpose to create a modular and highly customizable solution for complete monitoring chain. The completeness of the solution meant the coverage of all monitoring stages, from gathering measurement data to its visualization on intuitive dashboards. At the moment when the project started, the industry market offered just a few complex and customizable solution like that. Furthermore, the available platforms required multiple integrations and didn’t provide high-quality support.

The goal of the project was to bring hardware and software together into a single whole, to link sensors and their users directly and wirelessly.

For the project, TYMIQ formed a dedicated team of senior-level specialists. Just in a year, the team managed to implement the first commercial version of Prylada. The initial solution included a gateway for data transfer and the Prylada Cloud. This combination was already enough for potential customers to build a complete monitoring system, but without proper flexibility. The gateway provided several standard connection interfaces and thus could be connected to any third-party sensors for data aggregation. Further, the collected data was transferred from the gateway to the Prylada Cloud wirelessly, via NB-IoT or LTE mobile connection.

Within the next year, the monitoring solution was enriched with upgraded versions of the gateway and more smart devices for data collection and transfer. Prylada gained its wide customization capabilities and was adapted for a variety of use cases. The list of connection interfaces was expanded with an RF channel.

Quick implementation of the first version of the solution and its intense development helped the client occupy its niche in the market and maintain its competitiveness till now. The main advantage of Prylada is its modular approach. The combination of hardware, firmware, and software from a single provider allows end users to build a tailored asset monitoring system and let their physical infrastructure see.

Well-designed server architecture

The Prylada server can be equally deployed on a public cloud, private cloud, or on-premises. The cloud-independent deployment–among with other advantages of the solution–is ensured by the right architecture of the server.

Customization and individual approach

The possibility to create a tailored monitoring solution for each customer was laid down by our engineers from the very beginning. Flexible configuration allows the customers to easily set up the required parameters and get the detailed data based on their purpose.

Modular design and scalability

The well-designed architecture of the software, firmware, and hardware products made a strong foundation for the modularity, scalability, and security of the solution. The modular approach in combination with the popular communication interfaces of Prylada simplifies the implementation process and allows covering a wide range of use cases.

Power efficiency

The right architecture of the hardware and firmware products allows us to apply the most efficient battery saving practices. We ensure long battery lifetime in the devices and therefore, uninterrupted operation of the monitoring system. This is especially valuable for production facilities where permanent monitoring and cost reduction play an important role for the whole business.

Wireless data transfer and setup

We use the latest chips from the leading manufacturers and the modern wireless technologies. For example, data can be transferred via NB-IoT, LTE, or Wi-SUN ® channel. This also allows us to remotely configure the connected devices, adjust the settings anytime, and update the gateway firmware over-the-air (OTA) automatically. The OTA updates in turn help keep the IoT infrastructure healthy, make it easier to introduce new features, and allow devices to stay longer in the field.
